About this site

A glowing blue and magenta dial arching over a night city skyline and a river.

Net Speed Check collects plain-language guides to internet speed: what download, upload, ping and jitter mean, why a test result can differ from your plan, and how to troubleshoot a slow connection.

The speed test is not live yet

The test engine is being connected. Until it opens, the dial on the home page only previews the readout: nothing is measured or stored on this site.
